"It terrified me to get a skin cancer diagnosis on my toe! My Podiatrist referred me to Surgeon Dr. Ashish Bhatia. From the time I first walked into the exam room I was treated with empathy and respect. Being prepped by PA Megan a 16 year associate of Dr. Bhatia was wonderful. Dr. Bhatia was amazing. He was kind and explained every step of the way what procedure they were going to do. He talked to me throughout the entire process to keep my nerves at bay. I was bandaged and sent to the waiting room for over 2 hours while the first layer was examined. Then it was back for round two. This time NA Faith was assisting. She was great and gentle reassuring me the whole time. Another layer and again I was bandaged and back to the waiting room for more tissue to be diagnosed this time about 1 1/4 hours. Back to the exam room with NA Faith where I was pronounced cancer free!! Now more fun by younger Dr. Bhatia no relation who is interning who applied several layers of skin graft. Might as well double it up since he said it was very expensive. It was a precision job to do it but it's in place. Then the final bandaging by NA Faith with an appointment back to my Podiatrist for possible plastic surgery. They advise you that you will be spending the day there. 7 hours later they were correct. I left the office with love and respect for everyone that was part of my team. I more than ever agree that 5 stars aren't enough for the wonderful care I received. I would recommend Oak Dermatology for everyone that needs their service. Thank you Staff you are the greatest."
"Oak dermatology is an amazing practice. Dr. Bhatia has done two skin cancer removals for me and the results are incredible. He is very thorough, knowledgeable, patient and caring. His expertise is shown during the procedure as I experienced no discomfort with the numbing. The end result of both excisions are amazing! I would highly recommend Dr. Bhatia and I am so fortunate to have him as part of my healthcare team!"

I met with Dr.Hsu for a consultation and absolutely loved how thorough he was in explaining particular procedures to me, given the areas I pointed out that I wanted improvement in on my face. Once I came in for my treatment, him and his staff spent so much time explaining everything, including post care treatment. They are so nice and they are amazing in how they treat their patients. They don’t rush at all and truly can tell they care and treat everything equally as important no matter what you’re in the office for that day. Dr.Hsu was so great during my laser treatment and gentle throughout the entire procedure. He answered all my questions and did not leave the room until he was sure I was ok. "My mother had basal cell carcinoma on her chin. We decided to come to Oak as they were highly recommended. Our first visit with Dr Bhatia was extremely pleasant. Dr Bhatia and his staff are very kind, knowledgeable and thoughtful. We decided to proceed with the MOHS procedure. Due to the amount that was removed the plastic surgeon had to repair and suture my mom’s pchin. He did such a great job!! It has healed well and you would never be able to tell that she had anything done to her chin. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND OAK DERMATOLOGY IN NAPERVILLE!!!!"

"Most recently I have had several appointments with Dr. Jeffery Hsu for improvement on my shingles scars. They are on my face right above my eyebrow and I had been very self-conscious about it. Everyone in the office has been wonderful, friendly and professional. Dr. Hsu is highly rated in the Midwest, and I agree from my experience—from consulting with me about the scar, exploring my options, explaining everything, and performing the procedures … I was very comfortable and confident he could restore my face to what it used to be. The procedures have been quick and easy, and I am LOVING my results. He said I’d need 4-6 treatments, but so far I’ve had 2, things are already a significant improvement to where I’m able to sort of “forget” the scars are there. He’s been able to repigment the skin as well! I’m going for another treatment Wednesday and may even stop at 3 procedures, we’ll see. Very pleased with the quality of work and care. I also see Claire with Diamond glow facials to help with my milia, and she’s great and it works very well. Would highly recommend Oak Dermatology."

She spent a lot of time listening to my issues and had read my pre-visit online questionnaire so was very familiar with my history and needs. "Dr Bhatia and his assistant, Sarah Ahern, are the absolute best! I have been a patient for many years but recently moved to the Washington DC area from Chicago. I still travel back to Chicago for my skin care treatments with Dr Bhatia at Oak Dermatology. I really appreciate how Dr Bhatia carefully evaluates my skin and makes recommendations. My issues are sun damage and areas on my face that need filler and Botox to gently perk me up! Yesterday, I had Fraxel laser along with some fillers and Botox. My results are always perfection. Dr Bhatia has a wonderful manner; he is the BEST dermatologist for all skin issues and has excellent technique along with the latest approaches to correct any problem areas. Rachel is amazing for botox and fillers - gentle, no bruising and an artist! Also consulted with Dr. Hsu for my acne scarring and not only was he on time but he was thorough (explained the available procedures - benefits, risks, downtime etc) and has excellent bed side manner. "My husband had a spot on his right ear that would not heal. When it became painful for him to sleep on his right side, we started looking for a dermatologist. We chose Oak Dermatology based on the 5-star rating it had from over 200 people!! We called and made TWO appointments - one for Jack and one for me - with the Itasca office, just five minutes from our home! We were given full-body scans. A biopsy of the spot on Jack’s ear showed he had basal cell carcinoma. A MOHS procedure revealed how much the cancer had spread. The ear repair was complicated by the fact that Jack has a cochlear implant. At every step of our journey, we have been treated by capable, caring doctors and staff. Thank you Dr. Al-Hadidi, Dr. Bhatia, and Dr. Daw. Thank you Cynthia, Georgia, Chelsea, Kaitlin and Jake. We feel so lucky that we found Oak Dermatology!"

"I have been going to Oak Dermatology since 2012, when I had my very first skin cancer. Dr. Bhatia did my Moh's surgery that time and he's been doing them ever since. Dr. Daw has done my plastic surgeries to repair the damage resulting from two cancer removals. The last few years, I have also been visiting Stephanie who periodically checks for any new cancers so she can treat them BEFORE they need surgery. I have always been treated with kindness by everyone at Oak Dermatology. For appointments, I drive 1 1/2 hours (one way) to get to their office. But, I have complete trust in their expertise so it is definitely worth it!"

His simple, practical and highly effective care regimen has resulted in me often being mistaken for someone in my 40's. I’m so glad I found Dr Hsu and Oak Dermatology. First of all, all of their doctors are warm, friendly and patient. They listen to concerns and explain why they advise their course of action. They are committed to your health but also have your aesthetics in mind. I’m glad they did my Moh’s procedure to get rid of my basal cell. It was painless and you can barely see any hint of a scar. "We recently saw Stephanie for molluscum on my 5 year olds face. We had seen a different dermatologist 4 times over two months and the molluscum continued to spread and get worse. Stephanie had a lot of different treatment ideas and used a curette on 3 or 4 and some sort of liquid on 3 or 4 and asked us to come back in two weeks so she could see what worked best and how well it was healing. The curette worked like a charm. After one more treatment all of my sons molluscum was gone and his face is now healing beautifully. Her bedside manner was also very patient and kind with my nervous son. I highly recommend Stephanie at Oak Dermatology and plan on going there for all of my future skin needs!"

"My initial visit to Oak Dermatology was for a consultation on the Beautifill treatment. It is where they take fat from another part of your body & inject it into your face to fill in deep wrinkles & add volume. However, when I explained to Dr Hsu the results I wanted & the problem areas on my face, he recommended we do the Fraxis CO2 laser resurfacing treatment first. And then follow it up with the Beautifill treatment after I had healed from that. So that's what I did. I had the laser resurfacing done on October 19th. I am 6 weeks out as of tomorrow and the results have been phenomenal. They far exceeded my expectations. I had a lot of sun damage from frequent visits to the tanning bed in my teens and twenties, lots of brown/aging spots, wrinkly/crepey patches of skin. I am shocked at how smooth and flawless my skin looks. Very noticeable to my family & friends. It was a painful procedure, not for the faint of heart. And the healing time is significant. But absolutely worth it, no question. When I went in for my one month follow up visit, Dr Hsu & I both agreed that the Beautifill treatment was no longer necessary. The Fraxis CO2 laser resurfacing procedure had taken care of far more than I expected and I no longer saw any problem areas. I was impressed by the fact that Dr Hsu didn't try to talk me into doing the Beautifill procedure - which is significantly more expensive than the laser resurfacing. He said "...our goal is to get the results we want in as few procedures as possible." I'm sure not all doctors share that sentiment and are far more concerned with getting you to spend as much money as possible in their office. Overall, extremely happy with my results & very confident in using Dr Hsu for future beauty treatments."

"I’m SHOCKED, SHOCKED, I tell you at what they did to me... But in a good way! I’ve purposely waited a month to write this review to ensure what they said was going to happen did happen. However, before I begin, let me just say that Dr. Hsu and Dr. Bhatia are rock stars in the world of Dermatology. They are in high demand and travel, teach, lecture, do clinical and technical research all over the world, are highly skilled and along with their team, couldn’t be more personable. They recently left their very large and highly lucrative practice associated with a hospital to start their own practice. But...I digress. So here’s what happened. I went for a routine check up, unsuspecting of what was to come. I was whisked into a "special room" with a brand new piece of equipment and, being a long time patient, was asked if I wanted to trial a new technology. There are presently only 5 of these machines in the world and they have one! But what is it...?I’m a 46 chest, 34 waist and my whole life I’ve struggled with love handles. . This new technology similar to cool sculpting but next gen, melts fat fast. One 15 minute treatment is projected to melt a considerable percentage of fat in the area over the next 90 days. It’s been only 30 days and I am amazed at the noticeable reduction in my love handles. I stare at myself in the mirror each morning in disbelief, constantly pinch at them in vain during the day and receive daily compliments on how much thinner (or "svelter" for the MOT’s) I look.Looking forward to seeing how much more improvement I notice over the next 60 days. May focus on the abs next. Six pack on the horizon???"
