What to Expect from A Brow Lift
The recovery period following brow lift surgery is different for each patient. In general, there may be some swelling, discomfort, and bruising in the upper face around the eyebrows and possibly around the eyes. Cold compresses can help to reduce swelling. Our surgeons recommend patients sleep with pillows propped under the head for at least three nights after their brow lift. The average recovery period from this procedure is about 2 – 3 weeks. Patients should avoid strenuous activity during this time. Results are immediately visible. Your rejuvenated skin will appear softer, and your eyes will look more alert with a reduction in drooping brows and fine lines in the upper portion of the face.
