What to Expect from A Brow Lift
The recovery period following brow lift surgery is different for each patient. In general, there may be some swelling, discomfort, and bruising in the upper face around the eyebrows and possibly around the eyes. Cold compresses can help to reduce swelling. Our surgeons recommend patients sleep with pillows propped under the head for at least three nights after their brow lift. The average recovery period from this procedure is about 2 – 3 weeks. Patients should avoid strenuous activity during this time. Results are immediately visible. Your rejuvenated skin will appear softer, and your eyes will look more alert with a reduction in drooping brows and fine lines in the upper portion of the face.
Jeuveau®, Dysport®, and XEOMIN® are neuromodulators or wrinkle relaxer injectables that can be used to perform nonsurgical brow lifts, smoothing away lines and wrinkles around the forehead and eyebrows while lifting the brow to achieve a more alert look. These purified proteins provide remarkable advances in noninvasive, anti-aging treatments.

The whole staff was incredible! I had Dr. Alhadidi. She gave me lots of explanations and thought processes for what was going on with my skin. She gave me several treatment options and progressions (like if A doesnt work, we'll try B, and if it still doesnt work, let's do C). Other dermatologists would just give me one treatment option with no explanation. Now, my skin feels really great. I still can't believe it, because nothing else worked.

Oak Dermatology is an amazing practice! I met with Dr.Hsu for a consultation and absolutely loved how thorough he was in explaining particular procedures to me, given the areas I pointed out that I wanted improvement in on my face. Once I came in for my treatment, him and his staff spent so much time explaining everything, including post care treatment. They are so nice and they are amazing in how they treat their patients. They don’t rush at all and truly can tell they care and treat everything equally as important no matter what you’re in the office for that day. Dr.Hsu was so great during my laser treatment and gentle throughout the entire procedure. He answered all my questions and did not leave the room until he was sure I was ok.
