What to Expect from Microneedling with PRP
After your treatment, you might encounter some common but temporary side effects, such as:

- Dryness
- Slight discomfort
- Swelling
We recommend that patients avoid using makeup, cleansing with abrasive face washes, or swimming in pools for approximately 72 hours after treatment. Activities like these could expose your skin to harsh bacteria and chemicals that may cause adverse side effects. You should also limit sun exposure or use a medical-grade sunscreen when planning to be outdoors. If you are using any skin care with actives like retinol or certain AHA/BHA, final results are typically visible within several weeks as the skin begins to repair and heal itself. It is also during this restoration period that new collagen is formed.

Working in a medical role I interact with all sorts of doctors regularly and can say he is the best combination of professional and casual. Oak Dermatology’s entire staff was also helpful, friendly, and patient while providing a clean and tidy office.
