What is truSculpt® iD?

truSculpt® iD is a fat reduction treatment that can be performed on any body type. truSculpt® iD treats the subcutaneous fat layer (fat underneath the skin), which results in long-lasting fat reduction. Multiple areas of the body can be treated simultaneously with little downtime. Treatments can be done in as little as 15 minutes.

How Does truSculpt® iD Fat Reduction Technology Work?

A truSculpt® iD applicator is used on the skin to send monopolar radiofrequency energy into the body, targeting ONLY fat cells. When heated to a certain temperature, these fat cells are damaged and slowly die through a process called apoptosis. The body registers the damage and naturally absorbs the treated cells over the next several weeks. Drinking plenty of water after the treatment will accelerate this process. It can take up to 5-12 weeks to see FULL results. Up to 24% of fat reduction can be seen after just one treatment. Additionally, the radiofrequency energy from the applicator can firm the skin, further enhancing the outcome.

Is truSculpt® iD Right for Me?

If you are over 18 and wish to get rid of stubborn areas of fat, truSculpt® iD may be right for you. While truSculpt® iD can remove fat, it is not considered a weight loss solution. Pregnant and/or breastfeeding patients are not candidates for this treatment. Someone with a pacemaker or internal defibrillators, metallic implants in the target areas and/or those with malignant or benign tumors in the target areas should not pursue this treatment option. truSculpt® iD is suitable for all body types and all skin colors, and is effective in treating nearly any part of the body. The most commonly treated areas are:

Are truSculpt® iD Treatments Painful?

While each patient experience is different, the treatment area is typically warm for less than an hour post-treatment. Mild sensitivity to the touch for a few days is a common experience among patients. Most patients can return to exercise and normal activities within a few days of treatment.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?
