Dr. Joseph L. Daw Jr. is a board-certified plastic surgeon who has been in practice since 1998. He focuses his practice on cosmetic surgery of the face and body, reconstruction after skin cancer removal, scar removal, and removal of skin lesions. Dr. Daw has extensive experience in rhinoplasty, facelift, eyelid surgery, and otoplasty (ear pinning).

Education and Training

Dr. Daw received his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia where he received several academic honors. He received his dental degree from Loyola University School of Dentistry, graduating summa cum laude. Residency training included plastic surgery and general surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL and oral and maxillofacial surgery at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. After his residency in plastic surgery, Dr. Daw completed a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. Dr. Daw’s unique and extensive training places him among a very select group of plastic surgeons in the United States.

Memberships

Dr. Daw was previously a member of the faculty in plastic surgery at The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. He served as chairman of the department of plastic surgery at DuPage Medical Group.
